"My Wife Weighs Eighty-Nine Pounds"
"My Wife Weighs Eight-Nine Pounds"
my wife weighs eighty-nine pounds
I round out at three hundred and two
she's as thin as I am round
we share a love so true
a love not easily found
I would never choose another
she’s the anorexic for me
for my children a skinny mother
and a ton of fun that’s me
her hair is long and shiny
while mine is gray and wiry
her eyes are heaven's light to me
she's as thin as she is long
and as skinny as a branch
found upon a willow tree
my ears are blue
my eyes are red
I sport a beard and mustache too
her beard ain’t as thick as mine
her stache is just a shade of blue
her face is a bit too pale
mine is crossed between green and blue
my wife may be a bit thin
and I might be a tub
she is where my life begins
we fit each other like a glove
I may look just a little silly
crooked face and ears awry
and though my feet are of a size
less than two
hers are only seventeen
she is to me my most precious prize
I hope she thinks the same of me
