    this is one of the poems I wrote for the church entertainment day

    Trust Me, Trust God

    “Trust Me, Trust God”

     

    I truly want to live my life

    As a living sacrifice

    Of trust

     

    I looked my heart right in the eye

    I prayed to God I’d understand

    What it takes to be a man

    Of trust

     

    My Dearest Lord

    Please calm the storm

    That rages through

    My restless soul

     

    Lord Jesus please

    Turn it’s whirling, swirling seas

    To an ocean of love

     

    We must ask God to be our guide

    Then He’ll really magnify

    The poetry that’s deep inside

    Each of our souls

     

    Look your heart right in the eye

    And pray to God in Jesus’ name

    Lord show me how to live my life

    As a living sacrifice

    Of trust

    Amen! We need The Lords Strength to get us through day by day. Thats, The only way we can make it is give him our total trust and he will lead and guide us throught the storm and through rain. He will never leave us or forsake us we just got to give him our total trust.

    the other poem I wrote for that Sunday is "Relationships" its a rhyme as well, I am going to read some of your poems now OH! BTW, Jesus rules! : o ).

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
