"Sliding Through"
“Sliding Through”
Wandering, meandering, drifting through this life
Every once in a while stopping to study a leaf
Or lean upon a tree, just sliding through, just sliding through,
Living in freedom, breathing the air on the breeze
In love with the collective smells of the ubiquitous trees
Just taking a while, just taking my time
Finding gold along the way,
Loving the magic of each day
I’m just a sliding, just a sliding through
Through this land of beauty alive in nature
Leaning upon a tree, studying the leaves
Just wandering, taking my time
Taking the while to pass the day
Just passing along the way
Finding joy along the way
Just taking my time
Meandering through each magical day
Sliding, just a sliding through
Drifting through this life
Just drifting by
Drifting by the way, day by day
Gliding down stream each day is a dream
Sliding down dream studying the leaves
Of my life
Just sliding by, just sliding through
Wandering, meandering, just a drifting on
Each leaf is a song
Just sliding through, just a sliding through
Studying leaves, studying leaves.
