    A Birthday Wish

     A birthday wish rides upon a star
    somewhere near , somewhere far
    A simple thanks, to all who give
    for all the years, you've helped me live
    though they only come once a year
    you take away that aging fear
    on that morning when I wake
    I'm up and about ready for that cake
    though I must wait for my gift
    the card you give, provides a lift
    a warm embrace, it brings a cheer
    a new number, another year
    so I'm not asking for much this time
    just a birthday wish thats sure to shine
    So I'm hoping this day won't go too fast
    and I'll be sure to cherish them as they pass
    so thank you my family, thank you my friends
    all the bday and xmas wishes that come till years end
