Cold eyes staring through a vacant beauty
lips frozen now cold as death's embrace
wisping shadows seen leaving your body

Resuscitation failed, life support cut
could you have saved her or did you give up
fighting to save that last breath
her pale skin as cold as death

I was always drawn to her scent
but I took it beyond passion
