Can You Imagine
Can You imagine a wooden heart , that could never filter love
Can you imagine a darkened soul, colder than the north pole
Can you imagine a pain that stings more than death
Can you imagine crucifixion, nails that pierce the flesh
Can you imagine a place they called Golgotha's Skull
Can you imagine Jesus drinking vinegar from a gull
Can you imagine being beaten thirty nine times
forced to carry His own cross for the world's crimes
Can you imagine hanging three days as others watched
Can you imagine soldiers gambling for your clothes casting lots
Can you imagine being spit upon and mocked
Can you imagine a man to which many wise men flocked
Can you imagine twelve disciples was his crew
Can you imagine Peter would deny him as Christ knew
Can you imagine a God of undeniable love
Can you imagine being saved by a drop of blood
Can you imagine being able to heal the blind
Can you imagine a love that is rich and devine
Can you imagine one that knew you before your birth
died for you because you are of so much worth
more precious than any earthly treasure
a love more massive than any oil spill can measure
Can you imagine all of this
well Christ died and offered us forgiveness
