    Finding God In A World so Far From Truth

     I set my heart on the things of this world , and I let the hatred and evilness have their way. I set my eyes on the sunrise of everyday only to see the future stripped away. I'd give up the world just to spend one day with you.
    I'd lay down my heart to rest , to find a love that is true. I'd go to every measure to find Heavens treasure , in a world so far from truth. I'd look past the seas and beyond the trees, to a hill where I found Christ. I'd look at the blood and see so much love, in a fairytale I call life. 

    These days we call reality, a dream spinning a web of nightmares
    These days we trust humanity, In a world that shows we dont care
    Trying to find God in a world so far from truth
    trying to prove evolution when we have no solid proof
    trying to educate minds about a world laced with sin
    trying to bring this world back to find our God again

    We search high and low , yet we have nothing to show
    we are far from perfect, we are far from attaining our dreams
    We search for all the answers , We search for solid proof
    still we try to find God in a world so far from truth
