    Poem Commentary

    A poem I'd like to dedicate to Tonya, for always being a caring friend. No matter how far apart we are I want you to know that i appreciate your kind, gentle, attitude and everything else that makes you , you.

    Deadend of Despair

     Pouring out my heart, drowning in emotion
    a constant addiction, driven by devotion
    blood , sweat and tears , from this life I pursue
    heartache, hope, and waiting here for you

    I'll leave it all out on that line
    pushing forward , your life left a wreck
    I must confess, I took this love as a dare
    this course a deadend of despair

    I casted my love into the vast ocean
    into its bottomless depths of emotion
    I couldnt leave it contained anymore
    my heart sitting on a bloodstained floor

    Chained, bruised, abused, yet still beating
    this love for you was left here bleeding
    my life a battlefield of despair
    so for you i'll throw it all in the air

    Did you think that I didnt care
    or that I would never be there
    Did you wander if I had left it all behind
    just to say goodbye for the last time

    ive been there a few times and i actually kind of enjoyed it, feeling pain like that can either break you or make you unbreakable...granted, i drank quite a bit and now have a healthy taste for alcohol, but i think i learned alot as well...so much to be learned through pain...nice poem overall
