Winter Now Welcomes Spring
The winters frost has left me coldI yearn for spring , and daylights old
The chirping of birds, dancing in trees
the warm teasing gentle breeze
The air makes it way into my lungs
I can feel the words curled on my tongue
but leave they will not, they just sit there
to catch a taste of the season's air
Now the maker of the season speaks
His words rattle me for weeks
I welcome this new time of life
when winter says goodbye, goodnight
Now Summer is drawing near
I feel April's promised tear
as May brings her flowers to life
I kiss the season saying goodbye, goodnight
Now June is here and I can dance
the warm air ignites a romance
the summer is long , but long I can wait
wait for the time I'll enter the gate
the gate of His garden, that grows plenty of love
the gate of His Kingdom, thats with the stars above
the gate of His world, open for many eyes to see
as I fall asleep I say goodbye, goodnight to thee
