I Hit The Delete Button and Everything Dies
Sometimes I'm faced dreams with dreams of nothing. Are these dreams still something. Oceans and mountains, trees and streams all collide to form my dreams. Sometimes the whispers I hear fade away. The clouds of gray they sailed upon decay. The shallows rise, but how deep are these dreams, how deep are these hopes, how deep are these screams. How does imagination dance when it gets the chance to trace lines to romance. How far is the distance between this computer screen and what reality really sees. For amoment I wish that I could, hit the delete button and watch everythign die. Open my eyes, I will wake to see the beauty dead. To see the silence dead. To see the dreams have died within our minds, crying trying , bleeding to escape from what they could find. The screen in front of me just stares, but without eyes. The icons dance as I hit the keys, it reminds me that what we see is not always true to be. Can I watch these dreams fade like loose fitted dreams, this pool of dreams I swim in, within its dark blue I sink to its depth. It's much deeper than I expected, with one wink I question the existence of reality vs dreams. Can I take this time to see with my eyes whats real, just what I can feel. So now before I screw up again, I will be sure to save these dreams before they fade. I will find something to keep before I hit the delete button and put it all to sleep. Watching everything die. I see the beauty die. I see the romance die. I see the hopes all die. I still wonder why, I live when everything else is dead.I hit the delete button and everything dies. Is this even worth being read.
I want to know why all my ink has bled. It bleeds across these pages , these dreams that escape. It bleeds into the silence that memories erase. So let it all die, Let it all die. Hit the delete button and watch the screen go white. No more information. is this some type of indication that my words are wrong. Maybe this deletion process is just a shade too long.
Let these words die, open these eyes. Hit the delete button and watch these words fly. Let it all die, let it all die, let it all die.
I still wonder why everything must die.
