    Kissing the Stars, Kissing My Dreams

     From the minute I picked up my pen
    I could tell how this day would end
    It would only bring lost hopes once again
    but when I see you smile, I will shine my friend 

    I thought You held all the answers
    the key to my life is within this heart
    How many chances will I get, Lord
    to truly love someone so far apart

    I feel so close, yet I feel so far
    at night I wish to kiss a star
    I feel so close, yet I'm miles away
    kissing these dreams that fade today

    Everytime you read a line
    it's like a poetic orgasm in my mind
    Everytime I feel the sign
    I'm so close, but I'm lagging behind

    Chasing butterflies on the beach
    shooting stars at night I can never reach
    Kissing angels in my dreams,
    your love becomes my broadway scene

    Kissing the stars, Kissing my dreams
    Kissing the memories, Kissing the streams
    How far did I think I'd sail
    on the streams of life that forever prevail

    A fairytale love, is this more than a heart can bare
    a love serenade to caress your soul until its aware
    that love can exist such as this
    its more than evening of endless bliss

    kissing the stars, kissing my dreams
    kissing the moonlight, kissing the streams
    How far did I come to fail
    you are my life, the love of my fairytale

    Ironically, I find as I age that the romantic impression of those around me no longer illude my grasp of understanding and indeed the love of another impresses upon me a desire that I have no had in the past. Love is a beautiful emotion shared not by time and space, but by the heart’s embrace. As oft I must add a quote that expresses the depth and beauty of true love: “Laught as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.”

    Very wonderful that it is, its just another master piece like how you always do man. Keep up the wonderful writing. I love how you said in the part "when I see you smile, I will shine my friend" it kinda made me think of almost like a barber looking at his shaving knives smile and in return he makes them shine. I know thats not the actual meaning of that line but still I just felt like I should say that. I give you 10
