Knock Knock , it's The Damn Mormons Again
I went to the door again last nightonly to open it and two men came to sight
white tshirts , ties and pants
damn it's the mormons, should I give them a chance
They knew who I was, I'd talked to them before
We'd expressed our views on religion, on the Lord
They wanted to set up a meeting with me
but everytime I made plans, I wasn't were I was suppose to be
I'd blow them off, why then one year later they return
that book of mormon I wish I could burn
Knock knock, on the door , I step out to see faces
it's them damn mormons , come here dogs it's off to the races
chase em' down like the mailman, hope they never return
damn you'd think the first time they would have learned
So then what subject is going to arise this time
the same story about a man John Smith comes to shine
I've heard that story how back in the 1800's when
this John Smith guy looked deep into religion
He wanted to find meaning and truth and build a church
Why Do you revolve around this man, shouldn't you seek God first
It's kinda like the catholics they call upon Mary
they can be forgiven of sins before they are even carried
It's hard to say that one week we will go out and build a shrine
but how is this gonna bring glory to the divine
no idols should ever stand in the way of truth
read the fine print, it's in this book He left for you
Should I keep expressing my views on every religion
I know that it's up to the person to make the decision
wether to bow down to budda, a shrine or worship a tree
When the reality of the matter , theirs no other God beside thee
He is the Alpha , the omega , beginning and the last
so I'm here to bring this to your attention: This is a news flash
