    to all those dedicated to their wives, stay faithful

    Taking a Vow

     Taking a vow, a union we form through the ceremony of love
    stepping to the altar, better be sure your ready to commit
    love is a sentimental value that two hearts come to share
    hope that your aware that there are consequences to affairs

    If you dare to break the bond , you may be cursed
    was it love or lust , now it's this heartache that hurts
    We all know that we are guilty of sin
    breaking the union, can you be trusted again

    You've got that wandering eye, catching you stare
    did you think I wouldnt catch you , looking over there
    green eyes, blonde hair and nice rack
    staring at her, now your gonna get smacked

    Did you have any consideration
    lusting with the eyes of gratification
    lured in by the scent of her beauty
    but commited to your wife is your fulltime duty

    When taking a vow, it takes a dedicated pledge
    full time responsibilty, is it death do you part that you dread 
    ask yourself where will you be in 20 years
    will it be with your wife and children eluding those fears

    wow, really good poem. a nice way of saying "Do not go off with your secretary and screw her in a hotel room" kind of poem. but then you did it great. Sydney
