    Teaching Our Children the Truth

     Teaching our children the truth
    it's time we recognize the youth
    the younger generation I hope will rise
    and they will see Christ with their eyes

    It's time children take a stand
    I hope everyone comes to understand
    God has blessed you thats why your here
    lets show them the truth thats clear

    Our actions influence kids, they can always mimic
    what we say may become an epidemic
    cuss words and impolite expressions
    we need to teach them of our sinful confessions

    They need to be raised with a parents love
    why then do we murder, cover up the blood
    mothers neglect , why are they concieving
    with promises of never leaving

    they have the capacity and audacity
    to raise a child without violent catastrophe
    why then can't we speak up
    the children need to know truth, never give up

    We need to set an example for our youth
    we need to show them the truth
    we have the power to make a difference
    then why do we steal there innocence
