Saving Every Kiss
I sit under scarlet skies, nights filled with stars, streets lined with cars.I stare at shadows that dance behind trees, and think of kissing memories.
I wish i could save every kiss, a moment of bliss, nothing greater than this.
I'd fill a notebook with 10,000 pages, 7 years of romance sweeter than 10, 000 purplesages. The stages of love completed them all. If I stood on a star love would break my fall. If i danced on a dream, it would try to escape.
But these 7 years of love you can never erase.
I was in total awe when I saw you on the dancefloor
I wanted you so bad , never wanted anything more
I was willing to do anything to get your attention
buy you a drink , and dwell in a mind blowing intervention
I want to save every kiss, I could go on for days because its an endless list
of memories, dreams, tragedies and allibi's, the day our first child was born you saw the tears I cried. I'm sorry for the times I lied. One thing thats true is your love I never denied.
So take this time to bag these dreams, save these kisses which are so serene. I've never wanted love so bad, as the love I have had and the joy of being a dad. I will save every single kiss, a moment of bliss, nothing greater than this. i will continue to carry your heart across the dancefloor
where love came to start. I will never walk away from you. Know that this love always stands true.
