Moment At The Meadow
As I drove on a country road one dayI saw a clearing in the distance
As I drew closer and closer
I noticed that it was a meadow
A beautiful glistening green meadow
And as the faint sunlight bounced
Off the varied flowers
I saw a deer feeding in the back
So I pulled ahead a few feet
I grabbed my camera and got out
I snuck up to the edge of the meadow
Quietly moving around
I slowly got up and to my surprise
The deer was at my chest
I quickly jumped back
And snapped the picture
Then the deer heard an oncoming car
Turned and leaped away
I snapped two more pictures
Then it disappeared into the wood
I looked up and said thank you Lord
And went on my merry way
