Moose
On a small Alaskan HighwayOn the way to Homer
On the southern edge
While talking away with each other
Suddenly we see in our path
A stubborn horned beast
Munching away on a tree branch
Looking indifferent to our presence
This beast just stands there
Right smack in the middle of the road
We shoo him and boo him
We even tried to hiss
Then after about a half hour
It finally decides to trot away
Having a belly full of tree
So we could finally move on
Just a half mile to Homer, Alaska
