Wake Up Call
Life is too short for stupidityIt is my biggest pet peeve
I find I cannot tolerate it
I am the least understanding man
When it comes to acts of stupidity
Especially when I'm the culprit
So it comes at no surprise
When I get niffed at myself
Not too long ago, yesterday in fact
Concerning my health, I was stupid
Letting certain things lapse
To the point of absurdity
Then I got my wake up call
My mother gave it to me
She said she watched
Her grandmother slowly die and
Couldn't bare to see me
Go that way too
So I went out and got
My supplies and now
I am fairly whole
Promising to never again
Let myself go too far
