Great Vision
One day in Heaven, God looked aroundHe saw what he saw and it was a lonely place
He had created his angels and other various beings
Although happy he was, that they were there
He felt himself in need of more
So he said to himself, I know what I'll do
He created the Earth that day
And he saw what he saw and said to himself
No, still something more
So over the next few days he created and created
And created some more
Then he saw what he saw and said YES
I have created a friend named Adam
But then he saw what he saw and he said
Adam is alone as I have been
So he put Adam to sleep and created Eve
Then he saw what he saw and was sad
For Adam and Eve went their own way
So he said to himself, I have an idea, A Great Vision
I will fill the heavens with Adam's and Eve's
And maybe, just maybe, one will want to be with me
So he went out and filled the Earth
And he saw what he saw and was glad
Filled with joy and glee, but saddened to see
That although some did spend time with him
Most went their own way
He found he wanted all to be in Heaven with him
So he told all to be fruitful and multiply
So that every corner of Heaven would be full
Outstretched with his friends and children
From everlasting to everlasting
