Summertime Blues
It's not easy all year roundFor nine months it seems
To take forever to return
The frolicing days of summer
Fun in the sun and more
The romances, the flings
The hot steamy summer nights
From memorial day to labor day
Barbeque's, picnic's, horseshoe's
Riding bareback on the beaches
Swimming in the pool's and lake's
Camping out in the mountain's
Climbing, sailing, hiking, more
No cares, no worries can seep in
Another year has gone bye bye
And we can all live again
Away from the grizzle and grind
Anywhere, everywhere, our feet will go
Making love with your girl in the waves
To be young again and again
Ah, youth you have sung
You're swan song is near
