Invaders
They came from another worldTheir planet dying, they seek another
Coming to Earth to secretly conquer
Taking our shape, but with flaws
Crooked pinkies, no emotions or blood
In need of re-charging or they glow
A nice bright yellow orange
And they don't even blink
When they look at or stare at the sun
They do not come in peace, although some
Do sympathize with our plight
Most though, come to steal, kill and destroy
Very few of us know of them
Some have even joined their cause
Their greed and power hunger consumes them
Even their fear has gotten the better of them
The fighter numbers are growing though
The secret heroes of the Earth
These evil creatures and their
Palm held death weapons
Their flame throwing ray guns
Their re-charging cylinders that kill humans
One flash of the shiny pink light
And you're a goner, dead from a heart attack
If one gets cut and does not bleed
Or if they start glowing orange
Run like hell and lock your door
For they're not human and plan to kill
Fight for life and watch
As they burn up like a cinder
And turn to ash in a matter of seconds
Thats what happens when they die here on Earth
Another sign of the intruders from outer space
If you should take a drive late at night
And should happen to see a spaceship
Land off in the distance
And man sized lizards start walking about
Get out of there fast
For you have just seen " The Invaders "
