Just a Pile of Wood
Most people say they believe in GodSome don't know what they believe
And others say there is no God
Some have created God in their own image
Instead of the other way around
For the we christians there is no doubt
For the fence sitters, I say look about
For the stubborn hearted
Who see the cross as just a pile of wood
Well, some are close to believing
While others need a boulder thrown at their heads
And for those who see themselves as God
I say play with fire all you want
But in the end you will get burned
In my opinion though, the cross is alot more
Than just a pile of wood
It's a symbol of faith, of hope, of unconditional love
Mere words, perhaps, but more than that
It's belief and very deep intuition
Praise God, Praise God, Praise God
