Small Still Voice
In the quiet of nightIn a large crowd
When you're b y yourself
Or a hundred surround you
Driving down a country road
Or sitting on the subway
Laying still in the grass
Or hanging out in rush hour traffic
It doesn't matter where you are
Or what you are doing
If you listen carefully
You can hear it
Sometimes faint, sometimes loud
Out of nowhere it seems
But still it's there
That small still voice
Waiting to guide you on your way
Sometimes telling you where to go
Or what to do next
Or simply to say, hey, I love you
Listen closely
Do you hear it?
How about now?
