Blanket of Stars
I have seen God's beautyIn alot of places
In alot of faces
I have traveled all over
These United States
On God's quest for me
To preach his good news
I have seen his love
His mercy, his strength
I have seen many towns
Mountains and waters
I have seen his children
At work, at play, at rest
After all of that I have decided
On my favorite place to be
My favorite place to pray
Is in his presence
Under the bridge of a ferry
On it's way to anywhere
On any clear night
Where no skyscraper lives
Or city light has been
Where a full moon
Lights up the whole sky
One can stretch their arms
From right to left and
Still not fill them with his
Blanket of stars
Still not see them all
Or know the limit's of
God's great love
It's as vast as the universe
And in that time and space
Especially there, there are no limits
In time, space and most of all
God's great love
Under his blanket of stars
