My Friend Orb
He was a bright starA kind and gentle man
He served God many years
He was a good friend
A pain in the neck
Could be real nasty
With a knack for sweet revenge
Like all true friends are
He loved purple
Mixed veggies and noodles
Hated Barney the dinosaur
With a strong passion
He loved his friends
The Lord even more
I haven't even scratched
The surface of him
My friend Orb
In the end he was in pain
That only his closest knew
He took a handful of pills
And he was gone
He forgot two things
He forgot to remember
To let us love him
And to let God heal him
So instead he opted
To end his pain alone
Now he's in oblivion
That was my friend Orb
I'll always love him
He will be missed
