Vampire's Kiss
In the cover of the darkness of the nightA mysterious mesmerizing being lurks
In the shadows he awaits a passerby
Hoping against hope for his true love
When he does not find her, he cries out
In anger or is it desperation, he strikes
Luring his unsuspecting victim to his lair
Out of hunger and loneliness he plays
Toiling with them until he can no longer resist
Then in one swift move, he swoops in
And with one sweet kiss, he feeds
Perhaps in doing so, creating another creature
Another immortal devil like himself
Once human, now a fiend of the night
For he too was once touched by a vampire's kiss
