Flight of The Hawk
Leaving his nest at dawnTo search for breakfast, lunch, dinner
With his boundaries
As far as the horizons reach
He soars through the air
Looking for his next prey
He doesn't have to go far
Only a mile or so
When he eyes a gopher or two
Then in one beautiful motion
He turns up and then swoops down
Claiming his prize for his midday snack
Then back to his nest
To feast on his catch
