Library, The
Calm and serenePeople meet and talk
We come for many reasons
Mostly peace and quiet
Sometimes to give blood
Or other special events
And with all those books
One can read to their hearts content
Book's, book's, book's everywhere
Some funny, some serious
Some tell you how to and how not to
Some are true life and some are fiction
Some entertain, some enlighten
You can even read the daily paper
We even come and play on the computers
But no matter what, you must be quiet
Or the librarian will shush you
Make you leave, if you are too loud
So have fun, study, read and be merry
But be very, very quiet
