Irish Jig
It's great to be IrishI think it's wonderful
To be of celtic heritage
Not that I knock my other ancestors
I love being apart of them too
But I really love being Irish
Green is my favorite color
Life would be grand, if I could see
The Emerald Isle before I go home
To be with my Lord
Someday I'll get to see it first hand
The villages, the rolling green hills
The great people of the Gaelic shores
Perhaps get a glimpse of a leprichaun
Maybe a pot of gold or two
I love being Irish
And everything tied to it
Especially I love the accents
Oh, I can hardly wait
To dance an old fashioned Irish jig
