Bad Month For Stupidity
I have been known to do dumb thingsSome may say even criminal
Definitely not good or nice
I have stolen from time to time
Creating some very bad kharma
I've lied, cheated, even tricked
Given my share of sob stories
Never more so than in 1983
When I took some money at a party
Someone I worked close with
I wanted to give it back right away
But I didn't and I went out and spent it
Not one of my proudest moments
I lost several potential friends
Even to the point of breaking my big toe
We were cleaning up the shop
I grabbed the metal grinder
Was having trouble getting it in
No one would come help
It finally fell on my foot
That's when everyone jumped in to help
I was not well liked that summer
But it was my fault, my doing
No, no one could prove it was me, but it was
Everyone somehow knew it too
A fact I have to face and admit
To forgive myself and forget
