Lunch At The Buckhorn
Out in the middle of nowhereOn Highway 166
In Cuyama, California
Between Santa Maria and Maricopa
On the way to Bakersfield
There lies a small place
A diner one might say
Where you can get french fries and gravy
Chicken fried steak and tater tots
Even their own special recipe chili
You can get a Coke with ice or not
But no Pepsi, cause nobody like
And just about anything else
Nothing real special about the place
Ceptin' I met a friend there once
We both drove 75 miles to get there
And spent one special hour
Just hangin' out
At the Buckhorn diner
In Cuyama, California
And if you don't believe me
Just ask my friend Stephanie
Or her son Kenneth
Who played chaperone
To two old friends
Hangin' out at the Buckhorn Diner
In Cuyama, California
