Kindness Is Blind
I once knew a womanWho was so full of joy
It busted out her whole being
Always smiling, always giving
Never had a bad word to say
Relentlessly rejoicing
Whenever she knew
Of someone in need
She was the first to lend a hand
On her knees day and night
Pouring out blessings
With much delight
God was upon her as everyone saw
She loved to be needed
Loved to be a joy
Didn't matter the need
Or who needed her
Nor where she had to go
Nothing too small or too great
She seemed to handle
Everything with ease
Then one day she wasn't around
The Lord took her home
Her job was done it seems
She spread God's love
All over this place
Now it's our turn
To take over where she left off
Although it has always been
Our job too
Spreading God's love
All over this place
