Drill, The

Up at six and on his knees
Morning prayer over at 6:15
In the shower and by seven
Toast, juice and bowl of cereal
Dishes washed by 7:30
Fifteen minutes to relax
7:45 and out the door
A brisk little walk to meet the bus
Eight o'clock comes with the ride
He's on his way, gets to work by 8:45
Then from nine til one
Meetings, meetings, meetings
From one til two
A nice little lunch and back to the grind
In comes five and off he goes
Home by 6:30 to rest
Come seven pm, dinner is ready
First a quick prayer of thanks
Then ready to dine
Dishes washed and ready to go
Eight o'clock comes and cheerio
An hour relaxed, now it's nine
Pajamas, robe and a glass of milk
Then a half hour read
A short prayer to end the day at 9:30
Then lights out and good night
