Duel
From the day we're bornUntil the day we die
There is a constant battle
A duel if you will
The old angel and devil dilemma
Good and evil on your shoulders
Each trying to outwit the other
Each trying to keep us going
In their special direction
Sometimes good wins
Sometimes evil does
We look up to Heaven
And ask when it will end
Rarely getting an answer
At least the answer we want
So we keep going day after day
Waiting for the outcome
Constantly fighting the internal battle
Always wondering who will win the duel
