Doing What Matters
Keeping a smile on your faceGoing through life lightheartedly
Working hard at the job and home
Spending time laughing
Hanging out playing catch
Slow dancing with the wife
In the living room, in the dark
Running all over town to find
The one thing that
Will heal a broken heart
When the family goldfish
Hamster, turtle or lizard dies
Taking the deep breaths to calm down
When one falls off a log or curb
Scrapping the knees and elbows
These are just some of the things
That really truly matter
Not the long hours away
All the money in the world
None of that can compare
With living life with love
So stop and smell the flowers
And watch out for bumble bees
