Rabbit Day
Walking in the parkOn my way home
Off to my left I see
Two rabbits sitting in the grass
One large, the other a baby
The smaller one hops away
The larger one just sits there
While I walk on by and up the hill
I get to the street
Walk a little bit ahead
Lo and behold, what do I see?
Another baby rabbit sitting on the grass
I say hi and oh my and a slight wave
What a beautiful picture
A little glimpse of nature
What a gift from God
These little picture's add up
A wondrous sight indeed
The rest of the way home
I half expected to see more
Why not a whole brood of rabbits
Rabbits taking over the streets
I was very grateful
For that small glimpse
God letting me see a rabbit day
