Tin Soldier
Listen children to a storyThat was written long ago
In the times of Isaiah and Joel
It had been said that a man would come
To save the world from its sin
He would be killed through the hands of a friend
And arise again to fulfill his destiny
And after some time
Would come back again
To fight and conquer the enemy
And of the latter, we wait to see
The one tin soldier
Who on the bloody morning after
Rides away
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
Is his name
Son of God, who he be
The one tin soldier rides on
To bless and restore
What once was broken
And after the dust has settled
After all is said and done
All we can do is watch and follow
As the one tin soldier rides away
