Cinnamon
Orange, brown and whiteVery determined and tenacious
Not really a traveller
Didn't like the idea to go
All the way from Oswego, New York
To Santa Maria, California
So he jumped ship in New Jersey
Although adventurous and brave
He was a bit old fashioned
Once we made it out west
Our old neighbor let us know
That Cinnamon made it home
He will always be my boyhood buddy
Always fun to hunt and fish with
Or just hang out and play
My favorite cat for all time
Although he grew wild and eventually died
I will miss him, goodbye old pal
Hope to see you up above bud
