A FATHERS LOVE
Oft times you doubt,
Your parenting skills.
Although your love for your child;
Causes your heart to fill.
Dwelling on mistakes of the past.
Unsure your patients will last.
At times it seems a constant battle.
All you do is push and shove.
But, there is nothing greater;
Then a fathers love.
You don’t see yourself through the eyes of
The standers by.
But I sense it in your words.
Even if I’m not looking you
In the eyes.
The love you have,
For your offspring.
Is obvious;
An awe aspiring thing.
So, do not doubt,
The parent you are.
For through your child’s eyes,
You’re a superstar.
