the flight
Spreading my wings;
I leave behind worldly things.
As my feathers flutter;
In the breeze.
I feel the exhilaration;
Of release.
Stepping off the cliff;
Of reality.
I soar into the heaven's
surrounding me.
Leaving behind;
My troubles,
And pain.
With each level;
Of altitude,
I gain.
My shout of pleasure;
Is heard out loud.
As I rest for a moment;
Upon a cloud.
Flying so high;
And far.
Until my fingertips;
Touch,
The stars.
I dance along;
The Milky Ways mist.
The pleasure,
Is almost too much;
To resist.
I tumble over;
Saturn's rings.
I had never imagined;
Such a wondrous thing.
Taking a bite;
Out of mars.
There's no Carmel filling;
In this planet,
among the stars.
With my own eyes;
I see;
The moon;
is not made of cheese.
As I continue;
To fly.
I find great pleasure;
In the heavenly skies.
Whoever said;
Keep your feet on the ground.
Must have;
No wings,
To be found.
Never allowing their soul;
To dream.
Must make;
Their inner child,
Want to scream.
Never allowing their imagination.
To release;
From reality.
Never letting their soul;
Fly free.
I leave behind worldly things.
As my feathers flutter;
In the breeze.
I feel the exhilaration;
Of release.
Stepping off the cliff;
Of reality.
I soar into the heaven's
