Waterfall
Washing over me,
as I step into your essence.
Seducing me,
with your presence.
Behind your curtain of protection,
I hide.
No harm shall come to me,
while in your arms;
I reside.
Hidden away from life's troubles
and stress.
Behind your shield,
All my sins;
I confess.
I know all my secrets are kept,
behind your curtain.
I'm safe back here,
of that;
I'm certain.
Images beyond you,
are but a blur to the eye.
Only the suns rays peak through;
As if being shy.
The roar of your presence enfolds me,
protecting me;
from tragedy.
Allowing me to be who I am,
releasing my sorrows;
like a broken dam.
I can cry out and,
no one will hear.
Behind your strength,
I'm safe back here.
One with nature,
within your arms.
I'm safe back here;
from any harm.
When once again,
your shield ;
I depart.
I do so with;
a heavy heart.
Fear not,
for I have learned.
And one day to your arms;
I shall return.
Natures rivers shall not,
hold you back.
One day I'll return,
and that's a fact.
Where once again,
you'll hide me away.
From my troubles of my;
every day.
