THE BLIND TO SEE
So many years;
Wasted and lost.
In the end;
I wonder at the cost.
Searching and longing;
For the peace,
I want to find.
It was there all along;
But I chose to be blind.
All the answers;
Were there.
Layed out in a book.
If I'd only;
Taken the time to look.
The title spelled out;
The answers,
From it's birth.
B.asic I.nstructions B.efore L.eaving E.arth.
If you missed it;
You wont be held liable.
The book I speak of;
Is the bible.
The wisdom within;
Holds all the answers,
you seak.
How he made the blind to see;
And healed the weak.
How he gave his son;
On a cross he bleed.
A crown of thorns;
Upon his head.
Each blood drop a tear;
Of pain and strife.
Each drop given;
For your eternal life.
Just believe in me;
Is all he asks of you.
You'll never find;
A peace,
More true.
Just open your eyes;
Don't be blind.
In your search for peace;
I hope it's God you find.
