I AM THE WHISPER
I am the whisper you hear,
In a silent room.
I am the whisper floating;
Among the stars and the moon.
In the softness of a breeze upon your cheek.
I am the whispering comfort that you seek.
Upon a moons dancing beams.
I am the one slipping into your dreams.
Quietly in the corner,
I will collect like dust.
Waiting desperately;
for your love and trust.
You called me your whisper.
Yet it’s so faint and far away.
I’m left to wonder,
How long you will stay.
May I always be that whisper
You hold onto and cherish.
Praying this relationship,
Never will parish.
How many times must you,
Reassure this doubting heart of mine?
I continue to dream,
Of our hands intertwined.
A more loving friendship,
I could never find.
I am the whisper
You hear in the night.
Longing to have you,
Hold me tight.
