UNWRITTEN CHAPTER
Read my poetry,
Feel my passion.
Know that I’m for real,
And sometimes I can’t control the way that I feel.
We speak of how trivial things change life’s destinies.
But somewhere along the way I think your heart heard my pleas.
After so many years have passed us by.
The thought of you brings me joy and makes me sigh.
I know not if this will lead anywhere.
But never knowing you again brings me fear.
It seemed once that only an instant passed before we knew.
That perhaps the feelings we had were true.
Perhaps I’ll move too fast and frighten you away,
But I hope in my life you might stay.
There must be a reason I found you at last
The unwritten chapter of my past.
