    not a real life experience but my muse liked the words from a book I read.

    FOR JUST A MOMENT

    For just a moment,

    I was able to recognize.

    That old familiar,

    look in your eyes.

    For just a moment,

    my heart skipped a beat.

    When I remembered

    how used to make me,

    feel complete.

    For just a moment,
    time stood still.

    For just a moment,
    I would forget your
    stubborn will.

    For just a moment
    I would forget,
    that you no longer
    loved me.

    For just a moment I'd remember,
    how things used to be.

    A time when it didn't hurt,
    to say your name.

    A time when we didn't play,
    the blame game.

    For just a moment,
    my world seemed right.

    For just a moment,
    I lost my will to fight.

    For just a moment
    you cared for me again.

    For just a moment,
    I was your lover
    not just your friend.

    For just a moment
    all of my dreams came true.

    Then you walked away;
    And I knew we were through.

    Great poem. The ending always catches me off guard and that makes it all the more intriguing!

    Heart break and pain,as if the almost go hand in hand as our search for something real where the dream is for the best to last forever.And just when you think your loved ,the love is gone but not forgot,thanks nice work.
