TRAPPED
Within these walls,
Of my heart and mind.
I am trapped!
Searching for answers,
I may never find.
I am trapped!
Over thinking things;
Better left alone.
I am trapped!
Soon my heart;
Will be but a stone.
I am trapped!
Fighting to find,
The answers I seek.
I am trapped!
Some days I grow weary,
and weak.
I am trapped!
But, If I would only accept;
The way things are.
Not depending on,
The formation of stars.
My fortune lies not,
In a cookies words;
Or a horoscope.
These silly beliefs,
Only raise false hope.
If I allow my fate,
To be determined this way.
I am trapped!
By nonsense each day.
Of my heart and mind.
I am trapped!
Searching for answers,
I may never find.
I am trapped!
Over thinking things;
Better left alone.
I am trapped!
Soon my heart;
Will be but a stone.
I am trapped!
Fighting to find,
The answers I seek.
I am trapped!
Some days I grow weary,
and weak.
I am trapped!
But, If I would only accept;
The way things are.
Not depending on,
The formation of stars.
My fortune lies not,
In a cookies words;
Or a horoscope.
These silly beliefs,
Only raise false hope.
If I allow my fate,
To be determined this way.
I am trapped!
By nonsense each day.
