SAVING EVERY KISS
Kisses,
like a memory.
I gather and keep close to me.
The first timid shy peck upon my cheek.
Not quite reaching,
the passion I seak.
The first fumbled kiss,
not quite hitting the mark.
The longing continues,
for passions sweet abyss.
The sweetness of a
true lovers kiss.
The feeling,
that explodes.
Controlling every sense,
curling your toes,
with its essence.
Each kiss holds a memory of its own
to hold onto.
Whether it was planned,
or impromptu.
I'll put away each kiss
in my memory.
saving them,
for the days I'm lonely.
