WINDOW OF LIFE
When you look through my windows,
What will you see?
Will you see the broken heart,
of my tortured destiny?
Will you see me laughing,
with no care for who sees?
Who sees my complete release to insanity?
Will you see a broken woman,
in despair?
Or will you see a woman,
on the verge of release there?
Perhaps you will only see
a reflection of yourself in me.
Will frost or dirt obscure
your view?
Will you wipe it away,
to get a better clue?
A clue to what's
beyond the glass?
Not just a glimpse,
but a look,
that will last.
Do you care to know me,
and find out more?
Or do you fear what you'll find,
at my inner core?
Do you fear you'll see too much,
of yourself in me?
Fear it's a person,
you wish not to be?
