FALL WALK
YOU BESIDE ME,
HOLDING MY HAND.
THE SOUNDS OF A PRACTICING,
MARCHING BAND.
THE FEELING OF THE SUN,
WARMING MY FACE.
WALKING TOGETHER,
AT AN EVEN PACE.
THE SMELL OF AUTUMNS BOQUET.
THE LAUGHTER OF CHILDREN,
RUNNING TO PLAY.
THE BEAUTIFUL SHADES OF CHANGING LEAVES,
ORANGE,YELLOW,BROWN,AND RED.
THE SWEET TASTE OF AN APPLE,
PICKED FROM OVER HEAD.
KNOWING YOU'RE THERE TO SHARE IT WITH ME,
FILLS MY INNER CHILD WITH GLEE.
THROWING HANDFULLS OF LEAVES IN THE AIR.
YOU PICKING A FEW OUT OF MY HAIR.
YOUR GENTLE LIPS KISSING MY NOSE,
WARMS ME ALL THE WAY TO MY TOES.
RUNNING,AS YOU CHASE ME THROUGH THE TREES.
TUMBLING INTO A PILE OF LEAVES.
YOU TICKLING ME UNTIL I ALMOST CRY,
LETTING OUT A CONTENTED SIGH.
HOLDING MY HAND.
THE SOUNDS OF A PRACTICING,
MARCHING BAND.
THE FEELING OF THE SUN,
WARMING MY FACE.
WALKING TOGETHER,
AT AN EVEN PACE.
THE SMELL OF AUTUMNS BOQUET.
THE LAUGHTER OF CHILDREN,
RUNNING TO PLAY.
THE BEAUTIFUL SHADES OF CHANGING LEAVES,
ORANGE,YELLOW,BROWN,AND RED.
THE SWEET TASTE OF AN APPLE,
PICKED FROM OVER HEAD.
KNOWING YOU'RE THERE TO SHARE IT WITH ME,
FILLS MY INNER CHILD WITH GLEE.
THROWING HANDFULLS OF LEAVES IN THE AIR.

WARMS ME ALL THE WAY TO MY TOES.

LETTING OUT A CONTENTED SIGH.
