I'LL NEVER WALK ALONE
Jesus came to me and said;
"Take my hand."
At first I was confused,
I did not understand.
My life was full of sorrow,
What could he do?
But, as his hand engulfed mine,
peace flowed through.
No longer did I fret;
The latest unpaid bill.
Or worry about,
becoming ill.
I knew he was always there,
showing me;
He'd always care.
Never letting me drown
in despair.
Whenever I want to quit.
To just cry out my
every sorrow.
His shoulder's always there.
For me to borrow.
He's never let me down,
or turned me away.
I treasure the talks we share.
When I bow my head to pray.
